Role & Responsibilities:

The Asian Gilli Danda Federation (AGDF) serves as the continental governing body to promote, regulate, and develop Gilli Danda across Asian nations under the leadership of GDIF.

Key Objectives:

  • Organize Asian Gilli Danda Championships at regional and continental levels.
  • Promote Gilli Danda as a heritage sport across Asian countries.
  • Establish National Gilli Danda Federations in member countries.
  • Develop coaching and referee training programs.
  • Collaborate with governments, schools, and sports organizations to introduce Gilli Danda at the grassroots level.
  • Facilitate cultural exchange programs through Gilli Danda tournaments.
  • Work towards including Gilli Danda in multisport events like Asian Games in the future.
