Role & Responsibilities:
The Asian Gilli Danda Federation (AGDF) serves as the continental governing body to promote, regulate, and develop Gilli Danda across Asian nations under the leadership of GDIF.
Key Objectives:
- Organize Asian Gilli Danda Championships at regional and continental levels.
- Promote Gilli Danda as a heritage sport across Asian countries.
- Establish National Gilli Danda Federations in member countries.
- Develop coaching and referee training programs.
- Collaborate with governments, schools, and sports organizations to introduce Gilli Danda at the grassroots level.
- Facilitate cultural exchange programs through Gilli Danda tournaments.
- Work towards including Gilli Danda in multisport events like Asian Games in the future.
